See, I don't think is showing up the batter...it's pure emotion and adrenaline of getting out of a big jam.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Well, it looks like I just may be scratching Wrigley Field off my baseball bucket list this year! Phillies are out there Memorial Day weekend which is perfect because I would only need to use one PTO day for work. Thinking about a Friday-Monday trip.

Wife called me this morning asking about if I would want to go. Hell yeah!

That's awesome. I got a chance to go a few years ago when a buddy of mine played for them.. it's definitely an experience. Chicago in its entirety is a great city.

Something about January-February makes me always start looking forward to baseball. Don't know why, but I look forward to ST alot each year, regardless how the prior season ended. This year I have slightly extra reason to be excited since Jays made playoffs for a change, though their offseason isn't one to make fans excited at all.

I just like having games to watch in March on weekend afternoons in a much diff environment than a regular MLB game. We're about 7 weeks away from ST games!

Looking like I'll be seeing the Mets, Yankees, and the Red Sox (versus the Jays) this year, so that's nice.

Agreed with Kehlis. One of the best baseball experiences I've ever had, period. Of course, watching Pedro in his prime made it even better, but just an incredible experience all around.

Same. The game I went to was delayed for 2 hours for rain and was a terrible game (I think it was interleague against the Braves) but still a great experience. A very cool ballpark/area.

Yeah I'm gonna try to get tickets to Ortiz's last series.

Buy them now...LOL. I had a chance to go to Pedro's retirement game for $20 or so, and some reason I didn't pounce on them. Probably because it was against the White Sox and I didn't want to spend 4 hrs or so watching bad baseball.

I have to wait for single game tickets to go on sale next month. They currently aren't available.

Joe Girardi says trade acquisition Aroldis Chapman will be closer

Yanks must have some nice inside information into his possible suspension (I expect him to be suspended). I'm surprised at Girardi making this call right now.

It's because it's Chapman. He should be the closer. No point delaying that obvious because of a pending suspension.

If he's suspended, you deal with it. But now everyone knows he's the guy when the suspension is over.
