Just one of those quirks or weird throwbacks that keeps baseball different.
A hoodie while sitting in dugout in summertime?

But jacket does look better at times than Jersey for coaches , but they're obviously not gonna wear it middle of July on a sunny, hot day.

Exactly. Doesn't mean the game can't still be improved. No need to see guys who are 40-50 lbs overweight wearing baseball uniforms

Sorry man, you can't keep the nickname Boog if you're on the PEDs. From now on, you're Herschel Mack Powell to me. You're a disgrace to Boog's everywhere who did it the right way.

In a statement, Powell says he accepts the penalty but does not know how the substance could have been in his system.

"I ... will not rest until there is a full explanation for this result which will vindicate me," Powell said. "Until that happens, however, I realize that accountability rests solely with me on this matter."

            Of course.

P.S. OJ's still looking for the real killer. Maybe they can work together to find the mastermind behind crimes they've been accused of.

This is a real danger of letting the players do their own laundry. This happens all too often and I hope they work domestic servants into the next CBA for this reason.

So my grandpa passed a few years ago, and left me some old baseball cards. Silly me never got around to looking at them because life.

Turns out I have a #1 Andy Pafko card, with 27 other mint condition 1952 TOPPS.

If it turns out you have Mickey Mantle in there also, your retirement is basically paid for. Glad to hear the good news. The '52 Topps Mickey Mantle is the card of baseball collecting.

Pafko and Pesky along with a few more rookie cards I am forgetting are my highlights.

I have a few in the $800 range, but man I looked up and Pafko goes for insane stuff as well. These cards are basically taken carefully out of packaging shape still.

Pardon my ignorance, but who was Andy Pafko and why is his card value so high?

I looked him up on Baseball-Reference. Decent numbers, but nothing HOF-worthy all the same. Is it just the rarity of the card?

                              Thanks.

Pretty good at the time, and every card (roughly) was made about 3 times over, and his was only 2. Or something to that, I had to do some reading. The most expensive card sold of his was over $80,000.
