    That's awesome.

Going to go and get them appraised today! Found a memorabilia shop, and pretty excited...feeling like a kid on Christmas morning!

I believe he can only do a few at a time because they do take some time to find out the prices, but we'll see.

Good luck Bard! Hopefully you end up with a nifty little investment egg so to speak. Either way, that was a great parting gift from your grandfather.

Thank you! I'll come back later today and let know how it goes.

And yeah he was definitely one of my favorite people in my life, and makes me appreciate the man even with him gone.

Keep in mind that some [many] memorabilia dealers can be real lowball artists, so don't let them screw you if you know what the value really is. They make their living by giving you wholesale/re-sale price (at best) and selling at retail. If you can't get a number that makes sense, you might try ebay or other ways of selling.

So my Pafko card ranges from $5,000- $20,000 with its condition. Just have to find a buyer for it.

Then my other 27 cards range from $100-$1,000.

Think my grandpa left me a pretty good parting gift, he did take me to my first baseball game.

Haha thanks guys! It was pretty incredible hearing those prices coming out of the guy's mouth.

Dean's baseball cards or something similar looks to be my best bet to get the most value possible.

I'll keep you all posted throughout this!

Back injury too...That's not a good sign for a pitcher. Hopefully this won't become an issue for him going forward.

Also, I think we can kiss the Dodgers' fading chances at a playoff spot goodbye.
