Montreal would be the place to go but the Canadian dollar is in freefall. Maybe it's a good thing they can look at locations in Florida first. Hopefully when/if that fails the dollar will be better.

Not to mention that Manfred said that Montreal would basically need a stadium plan for them to even be considered.

I've said it for years but I'll say it again: the Virginia Beach region would be ideal.

As someone in the Virginia Beach region, we could certainly do with a team, but I don't know where they'd play. Were in the process of having a new arena built at the oceanfront but that's more for a basketball and/or hockey team. Having a team around here would be a real dream though, they'd have a fan immediately. I think the nail in the coffin for us ever getting a baseball team was when the Nationals moved to DC. Them and the Orioles can't figure out how to split the profits from the region now,I can't imagine them adding another to the mix.
