    Re: MLB Off-Topic

I'm a beloved Cardinals fan. Three reasons:

    1) My Grandpa was a big St.Louis Cardinals fan

    2) My Grandpa played in their minor league organization

    3) Growing up, Louisville was the farm system for the Cardinals. It was cool as a kid getting an autograph or seeing a player in person and then seeing them on TV the following season.

Bryce Harper might as well be Christian Laettner as far as I'm concerned.

He's good, certainly, but boy...he's incredibly annoying and agitating.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I don't find him annoying either but I do think there's a sense of entitlement that the Nats have given him where he is afforded the luxury of not taking accountability for some things. I think that will change with Dusty managing as he may be a players' manager but he can be tough when needed.

I think he's great as well. I'm not saying he's my favorite player. He's definitely not. But nothing he's done has bothered me in the slightest. He's a kid having fun and he isn't hurting anyone but the pitchers facing him.

You think he's entitled now? Wait until he signs his name on that 500 million dollar contract.

Careful, your Braves fan is showing.

I don't mind Harper. I find him a bit phony and precocious at times, but he doesn't really bother me overall and he's a phenomenal talent.

So Aaron Sanchez is apparently a demigod now and I don't understand it one bit. Jesus, the off-speed stuff. Please keep this up.

The offseason bulking up has really helped him and man oh man was his velocity great as well. I really think he's got some electric stuff that will be successful for him.

This is pretty much me. I much prefer guys like Trout and Stanton because I just prefer that style of approach and athlete usually but Harper is fine for the most part. Hasn't done anything terribly major for me to start hating him that virulently. But I do get an extra kick when he's struck out or, like tonight by Inciarte, doubled off or something like that. That's just competition and appreciating incredible talent.

Anyone else have trouble with vid links on the team pages on mlb.com? I click on the vid and it simply takes me back to the same spot.

It's been like this for a long time. Also, can they not put up a game recap video instead of these piecemeal highlights, usually in reverse or some other order? ESPN doesn't seem to have a game capsule highlight either. Is there a better site out there? Forget foxsports for video....bizarre.
