    Shame what MLB did.
I think Majestic was sold to Fanatics....

Basically they have a monopoly on sports/fan apparel and I'm scratching my head wondering how it's legal?

It seems like there has been a lot of inventory issues ion mlbshop since fanatics took over, even with non fanatics branded stuff

I turned MLB Network on today expecting to see spring training games and instead Prime 9 was on. I was about to turn it off, but it hit me this seemed different than all the Prime 9’s I’ve seen before. First, I noticed Bob Costas is the narrator. Next, I saw they’ve added the caveat that only players after 1947 are considered.

Bottom line, they’ve completely updated these and they were released in December. I had no idea…if you’ve not watched Prime 9 in years, it’s worth checking out.

          Bottom line...

Nike just can't, and shouldn't be, trusted.

Everything they have touched in recent memory has been awful.

It's almost as if they hired a marketing and dev team that is completely out of touch with their market and patrons.

Never liked the Nike MLB uniforms to begin with, but this is for all way different reasons now.

Watching Cubs/Giants and the Cubs announcers mentioned there hasn’t been a Giant hitter to hit 30+ homers since 2004. I couldn’t believe that, but looked it up and it really is true (Bonds had 45 in 2004 and never broke 30 again).

In this era of home runs, that really is an amazing statistic…especially given they’ve won 3 WS in that span.

True. I've always thought of Buster Posey as a power hitter, but he maxed out at 24 in a single season. And most of those were on the road. I'm positive that he would have hit at least around 35 in an average ballpark.

Just makes what Bonds did at the end of his career in that park even more incredible

Yeah, Bonds was a regular walking modern medicine marvel. On the one hand, I can understand why you'd jeopardize your own health and reputation by sacrificing it to take care of your kids, grandkids and great grandkids financial future but at the same time he has to pay the price for also sacrificing baseball integrity along with his reputation. As far as I'm concerned he doesn't need peer respect, he has his money.

True but a large swath of the league was doing the same thing and he was still head and shoulders above playing in a pitcher friendly park

You have to give that entire era an asterisk, then. Even the pitchers benefitted. Either they were on something, or their teammates were on it and they gained via run support and (therefore) wins. Thankfully as time passes people are less and less in their feelings about it.
