Former AL MVP Mo Vaughn admits to using PEDs.

Sounds like it only happened during the Mets part of his career but you never know...

If you're going to admit to PED use, now is the time to do it. Most people just don't care anymore. Anyone thinking, "boy, I really should rethink my feelings on Mo Vaugh's career now," it's a bit silly. That era is long gone and anyone holding on to anger/negativity over it needs to move on.

Especially seeing Sammy Sosa being welcomed back to the Cubs family, I don't think admitting to anything is going to hurt a guys stance with any sort of alumni event.

Vaughn also one of the names from the Mitchell Report. One day we'll have a 100% confirmation on that won't we? Seems like many from that list have come clean or indirectly been confirmed.

And even without the PED talk, not like Vaughn was the best player during his MVP season.

I'll believe this when I hear baseball execs and former players say it. Bonds and Clemens each received about 65% of the BBWAA votes on their final HOF ballot. Once the Veterans Committee (13/16 of which is comprised of HOF players and executives) had a chance to put them in the Hall, their support plummeted to under 25%. If your peers want to keep you out, what does that tell you?

The A's jersey ad will be advertising their future home in Las Vegas.

So I guess we can call them Las Vegas' Sacramento Athletics formerly of Oakland

Added their other two previous homes to your post. Hence, I call them the USA's.

The Rays announced Thursday that they will not be moving forward with their plans to build a new stadium. Read more at MLB Trade Rumors.

At this point you have to move them.

No major league ballpark in 2025 (not their fault), and they MIGHT get Tropicana back for 2026, but at this point the league has to put their foot down on this.

The A's situation is already resolved with their move, all eyes should now be on the Rays after what we thought was a resolution just to be back at square one.

Ummm, that's exactly what current ownership and it seems they sunk this deal to force the move. What I would say is that at this point you have to force current ownership to sell if you want to keep the Rays in Tampa and that seems what Manfred and other owners are thinking too.

You can’t blame them for wanting to move, they are always around the lowest in attendance.

Got a colleague at work that lived in Tampa for many years, he continually talks about how far the stadium is from the actual city of Tampa; always talks about how a pain in the *** it is to get there. But this new stadium wouldn't solve that particular problem since it would break ground close to the current one.
