It was a minor change. All they did was remove the yellow trim from the home uniform and hat. Generic look basically.Comment

Major downgrade, the yellow trim on the home uniforms made them "pop" so to speak. Now it looks like some generic create a team uniform.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

It's the last thing MLB would want.
I have a feeling they'll work something out. Maybe it goes beyond the Dec 1st deadline, but I'd be surprised if games were missed.
At least, I hope my optimism isn't misplaced.Comment

I have the feeling that Manfred is flexible enough to do some give and take. The issue has always been the players association having a "my way or the highway"mentality to negotiations.
I think they'll have a deal in place before ST at the very least.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: MLB Off-Topic
In MLB history, only 3 strikes have cancelled games. I saw a graphic on TV here that showed amount of days each strike lasted. Most of them were only like 10-20 or so days. If any kind of strike does happen, I don't see it lasting till end of December. 2 weeks at most is my guess if anything does happen.Comment

All but one of the four strikes resulted in a loss of time.
We may lose some hot stove time but we won't lose any games.Comment

Re: MLB Off-Topic
During the many NHL lockouts, stats were shown which revealed that the NHL, NBA and NFL - all Salary Capped leagues - have all lost significantly more games to lockouts than the MLB.
I know Donald Fehr brings that up all the time.
I don't have strong feelings for or against The Cap, but I do find it interesting how baseball has enjoyed significantly more labour peace with no cap than the other three leagues.
It just seems to work well for MLB.Comment
