****ing love RoFlo, I know people don't like talking heads for a number of reasons but he comes off as a super fan with a dream job IMO. I loved him on the FF podcast, love him on MLB Network, he's popped up on WWE Network shows, seems like a happy dude. His wiki page says he's got a Louisville Slugger signed by Richard Flair lol.

What was he saying about ESPN?

He was doing the open for HH, and a picture of Tebow came on the screen, and Flores stopped himself and said something to the effect of... "Since I left my former employer, I was happy to never have to talk about Tebow, LeBron, Manziel, or the Patroits ever again. Unless they came became baseball players..." And he just gives this hilarious look at the camera.

I'm probably butchering it, but the way he delivered it made it funny.

Tim Tebow's workout went great from all I have read. He smashed a hr, 20 feet over a scoreboard. Also I saw this:

        And an AL scout:

Puig claimed on waivers. No doubt Dodgers will pull him back, but I wonder who was the one that claimed him. Dodgers want to hold off on trade till off season, but if claiming team is in playoff picture, I'm sure they want him by tomorrow.

I hope the details of any trade talks are released. I'm intrigued by what the Dodgers would want/what the team that claimed him are willing to offer.

Why wouldn't the Dodgers just let him go? Still owed a decent amount of money next 2 years.

If the Red Sox really did claim him I'm sure the Dodgers will deal him now if they get what they want. Otherwise he'll be traded by the Winter Meetings. He's been taking at Triple A.

For what it's worth Dallas Braden was on Rusillo and Kanell today (actually might've been Le Batard with the backup hosts, I lose track) and he wasn't impressed. When the curves came his knees buckled, had some negative comments about his arm strength and movement, saying he'll always need to hit the cutoff guy and will need a lot of work on footwork.

Idunno if Braden is a huge expert or anything but that's what I remember from the podcast, and he did agree with the impressive power (against 85 on the gun)

Yea, everything I read said his hitting overall wasn't that great. He looked silly swinging at off-speed. But the guys he's worked with said that's the worst they'd seen him. But if you can't perform when it counts, then he isn't going to make it.

He also couldn't keep his feet under him in the outfield at times either.

The 2 teams that skipped out I think were the Cubs and A's. One doesn't need him and the other probably can't afford him haha.

Well then he looks like half the Padres players on offense.

I'll give him a pass, he's new at it. I don't believe he is a major league baseball player, though.

I know Tebow's a name, but it makes me sad that this is being covered so much. At least if he had made a team I would understand but this much over a showcase? MLB should market players that are actually playing for them this much. I've heard more about Tebow attempting to play baseball than actual players playing it over the last few days.

I don't think MLB has said a word about Tebow. This is ESPN's doing

I was watching this guy take batting practice for like a half hour straight on MLB Network yesterday [emoji38]

It's absurd. I'm not angry or anything, just think it's funny. I remember a clip I saw this morning where Amsinger said he thinks he makes it to the majors, I just put my head in my hands man. I thought we had gotten past the Tebow Era.
