The Padres didn't disclose that Pomeranz and others were taking oral medications that Preller didn't disclose. No other punishment besides Preller's suspension.

Preller getting fired countdown should be starting soon.

He destroyed a bad franchise. Not sure it's possible but he actually accomplished it.

Dunno why they didn't get out ahead of this and relieve him of his duties as soon as they were made aware of the suspension, I can't see this ending any other way than him leaving. Articles say a high ranking club official say he won't get fired but then what? The guy is toxic, he tried to get one over on another of his peers. I don't imagine that will sit well with other front offices. Who's gonna take calls from this guy?

Sadly, I saw a tweet last night from a reputed source (can't remember now) saying that the Padres don't plan on further punishment and he WON'T be losing his job.

            So yeah.....

What's the most you guys would spend on tickets?

I'm treating myself to some October baseball for my birthday and heading up to see the Nats at home in the NLDS. The problem... I don't want to just be there, I wanna be in it. Basically, I want to sit on the home dugout.

              Pro: No Yankee tax

              Con: Stubhub tax

Price for the seats I want right now are $539 plus Stubhub fees so somewhere around 8 million dollars for 4 of them. Most I've ever spent before was $250 to sit a few rows back on the 3rd base line at the Stadium Opening Day last year.

Yeah Im going to keep an eye on them, never used them before but I've heard good things with their fees and obviously every podcast can get you a 10% discount lol.

They don't have tickets in the section I want yet, I also have like $800 in Stubhub credit from the Yankees Opening Day game this year being rained out so it'll almost definitely cost less out of pocket going through them.

One of the talking heads on MLB XM said that Preller isn't the real culprit behind this scandal but he's taking the fall for it.
Might explain why he wasn't outright fired.

He's not even doing any playoff games this year. He said he was retiring after the end of the regular season about a month or so ago. So I highly doubt that he would be want to call the final inning of the WS.
