The issue, more than anything, should be that this is private property and they shouldn't be forced to do it.

Also, a lot of states have a rule about venue size and concealed carry (some are like anywhere that seats over 2,500 it's not allowed.) No idea about Washington.

I think all the other issues aside, if anyone really thinks it's a great idea to mix weapons, alcohol, and a sporting event I begin to doubt your judgment.

In Texas, you get to go through the express lane to enter the Legislature if you have a handgun permit. The thought is that if you have a permit, you've already gone out of your way to get a background check. Many Legislators now carray in the Capitol building.

So hunting isn't your thing I take it.

Haha...well, that's a different type of "sporting" event. You know what I mean...people's passions are high, they get drunk, things go south. I have sat at way to many Dodger/Padre games and watched fist fights break out. Last thing I want is one of the patrons to be packing...just my .02.

Oh I know, that was just the closest compatible I could come up with!

Serious question. I don't know the answer. Seems to me if you can't drink and drive, you shouldn't be able to drink and shoot game.

I know people who do, but I personally refuse to hunt with anyone under the influence. There are very few people I trust sober to hold a rifle, much less drunk.

Apparently the new CBA vote from the owners was a 29-1 vote. The sole vote against was from the Rays. Given what part of the cba meant for the As(being removed from revenue sharing), wonder what made the Rays reject it. Maybe this new cba might lead to them moving? I mean what else could it be that'd happen to make them(1 of 2 teams the commish mentioned directly as relocation candidates if they don't get a new stadium) of all teams be the one to reject it?

Um, no they are not. He's still on the sleeves and likely will still be on some merch.

Though, as a half measure (getting rid of the logo on the cap) is a good idea. We'll see how some groups react to it still being on the sleeves.
