NBATV is a great example - just follow suit!

What's wrong with watching Sandlot 100 times during the offseason?

I love Naked Gun as much as the next guy (though I think the 2nd one is slightly better) but my goodness! That movie only has a very tangential connection to baseball.

I agree. Naked Gun is as much a baseball movie as Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Does the NFL Network air Ace Ventura Pet Detective?
These are probably the same kind of people who think Die Hard is a Christmas movie.

I thought this was amazing...unfortunately it doesn't appear to be true. I checked and he was 22nd in 2004, 15th, in 2007, 13th in 2008, and 11th in 2015. Unless I am misunderstanding you and you don't mean his finish and just that he received a vote to be in the top 10?

Okay...that makes sense. I wondered how common this is and was surprised in my short look around that it isn't. I looked at Bonds, Jr, Manny, and Chipper and none of them can claim the same thing. That's pretty impressive.

DBacks sue to get out of Chase Field Lease

The Dbacks have claimed the 19-year-old ballpark is in need of major renovations. The county has called that bluff. Not it's litigatin' time.

Oh boy, it's never good when a team is suing city government to get out of a lease. That can lead to some bad blood and make financing for a new stadium harder than you'd like.

And they want to work with private investors. Not any city.
