Sure it was 20 years ago, but the talk of the A's coming here never stopped and with LV getting 2 Pro franchises the talked ramped up recently. Either way man LV will get a baseball team weather it be through relocation or expansion. It'll happen quicker than most people think.
Eh, we've seen that before as well. I hope it's true and believe it to be close to the truth than some of the last things we've seen similar to this but with the Raiders gone and the A's being able to get out of O.co it was going to be more likely they stayed than left.

And I never said anything about LV not getting a team. I would love to see them get one and they should. Wouldn't even care if they got an expansion team and called them the 52's. Always thought that was an underappreciated name.

Just didn't see the A's moving out of Oakland very likely anymore.

I wasn't trying to insinuate that's what you meant. I was just saying in general. While I agree somewhat I still think if they don't get an actual stadium deal done they'll leave eventually. I've been to O.Co several times (I went to college not too far from there) and the place is as bad as advertised.

John Lackey is a miserable person. Whines about everything.

Regarding Thames, he does have the kind of body that screams steroids but sheesh, when it's John Lackey crying about it then it loses any semblance of credibility. The guy has to be one of the biggest babies in the game today.

Just a couple bitches being whiny for no reason.

It's not like Thames went from early Barry to late Barry. Dude was always as big as he was, even early in his career. He stayed the same in Korea, and the KBO has KADA (Korean Anti-Doping Agency) testing for ****s sake. His problem was never size.

Thames is the new Cecil Fielder...played for Toronto, can't put it together...goes overseas and comes back to be a power force. One things for sure...no one ever accused Cecil of doing 'roids!

I don't think anyone is, can, or is allowed to use size or change in size as an indication of having taken steroids anymore. Heck, I don't think it was ever allowed, but you all know me. so...

I also think that it's such a small sample size that I think the only reason someone might shout "Don't test him!" like my dad would for short-burst successful Giants players is as a joke only (or a knee-jerk reaction to Melky and Mota being busted).

Finally, I think Lackey is having a fit over an opposite field home run for absolutely no reason. He does realize it only went like 360 feet, right?

I don't understand what you are trying to say? Steroids have tell-tale signs plenty of tell-tale signs. Not saying that "being big" means you are using steroids, but unnatural size growth is a flag.

Lackey is a ****bag anyways, it's just Lackey being Lackey.
