You wanna get rid of the hold the bag rule, fine. But I disagree about the fielder blocking the path of a base. That’s all about safety, whether it be a middle infielder getting his ankle fractured on a breakup slide or a catching breaking his knees ala Buster Posey or getting a concussion from a dude coming full speed down the base path.

I didn't know Paul Severino was such a fan of Jeter. The fact that he took the Marlins TV gig makes a lot more sense to me. This evening was his last show on MLB-N.

Anybody get a chance to watch the Braves 90s "documentary" on MLBN? Was it any good?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I liked what I have seen of it. But it needs to be 3 hours long.

I want it to go, and Buster Posey's probably my favorite non-Braves, non-Trout player.

Alas, I don't set the rules.

No kidding! In the 50s these things were pushing 2 hours and 10 minutes and THAT was bad.

The ironic part is that it was Posey's own fault he got hurt.

All 29 of Kris Bryant's homers from last year....notice anything?

No one will be able to convince me that hitting him in the 2-hole was/is a good idea...unless he has a world-class OBP man in front of him.

He hit them all for the Cubs?

                            Crazy.

All of his home runs came in @ bat for the CHC.

None of them were grand slams.

He hit one against the Giants and 4 against the Pirates and one a couple days after August 11th.
