The Salt Lake Bees have the most home runs in any level right now. They're at 38, 6 more than the MLB leader.

Too bad there's not much they can do with the stadium. They built it to be a multi-purpose stadium at the expense of the baseball experience. If they ever build a new stadium, I hope they put majority of the seats in fair territory, and the further back rows aren't directly underneath the concrete for the level above.

So many parts of the stadium just feels so isolated. OF seats especially, unless you're near the foul pole or by the bullpen(in one of the front rows), I don't find the experience to be enjoyable at all.
Quite frankly, it's going to require a LOT of work and not just some fringe stuff. The kind of retooling they need to do would require the Jays play a couple seasons elsewhere. In the last (or the one before) edition of the At The Letters podcast there was a good discussion about the kind of renovations that would need to be done.

PCL man. Has always been a hitter haven.

A complete overhaul of stadium would be nice. Though nowhere really to go. Maybe Montreal, but that stadium and especially field would be bad.

Would you rather the ball be juiced or the players?

The issue is, I didn't see anyone complaining about the kind of play in 2015 and earlier. Yes, pitching dominated but it made HRs and great offensive feats seem more impressive.

Neither. Shouldn't be an either/or proposition.

The real question is how do they get the juice in there?

These shouldn't be the only options, nor are they mutually exclusive.

But if I had to choose, given the eras that I've seen baseball that featured both in large quantities... the players. At least it's on both sides of the playing field that way.

Ironically, I'd also like to see no humidor in Colorado or Arizona.

At least those are just enviromental factors at work. The same way it's easier to pitch a night game in SF than other places.

All I know about the juiced ball thing is ... just scrolling through the scoring summary of some of these games on yahoo is a task, nevermind actually sitting through 4 hours of it.

Really good read on the near simultaneous offensive evolutions of Didi Gregorious and Andrelton Simmons

First, Didi Gregorius and Andrelton Simmons were childhood teammates in Curaçao. Then, they were middling prospects with renowned gloves but derided bats. Now, thanks to stunning parallel transformations, the shortstops have emerged as offensive forces—and two of baseball’s most valuable players.
