He was really good for that half season. I can't be mad at him. I don't know why the Cubs thought he'd stay healthy after how hard the Dodgers rode him in 2017 and his injury history.

I hope he gets back to the majors, though. The guy was electric to watch. Stuff reminded me of prime-Kerry Wood.

Didn't he have an 18-K game with the Jays back in the day?

He was nasty all post season for the Dodgers (outside of his like 4 pitch outing in that crazy game 5 in the World Series....i think it went something like game tying homer, single, wild pitch, homer or something wild like that) and for the Cubs when he was healthy.

Mike Trout is 47th all time with 73.1 fWAR, tied with Jeter but in 57% less games.

        He's age 27.

That's insane. There literally cannot be enough accolades said. I thought Pujols was the best I'd seen, with STL, accumulating 77.3 fWAR from 2001-2010...but Trout has almost the same fWAR in 2 fewer years.

Kansas City Royals owner David Glass is negotiating a sale of the team to local businessman John Sherman for more than $1 billion, sources tell ESPN. Sherman is currently a minority owner of the Cleveland Indians and would divest himself if Royals deal is finalized as expected.

Just to clarify some punctuation here, Bivens is actually not dead. His wife, child, and mother-in-law were all murdered.

The [alleged] killer was actually his wife's brother. And was found naked when taken into custody.

In a statement, the Rays said their "hearts are broken for Blake [Bivens]." The Double-A pitcher's wife, child and mother-in-law were killed Tuesday in Virginia.

Florida State League is shutting down for the year during to the threat of the hurricane.

Season ends early and no playoffs.

If theres any FSL players on 40 man rosters, no doubt they'll be on MLB rosters on Sunday.

I wonder if the fentanyl and oxy were prescribed by the team? I can't imagine they'd give somebody both of those.
