Gonna be buying tickets for this season soon. How else do you spend a day near end of January lol.

Going back and forth between whether I care more about 1st row seats or sitting closer to home plate. 1st row would have me closer to LF while 2nd row would have me closer to dugout side. None are 100 level though.

You know my answer, it starts with the question: "Which one doesn't sit you behind a frickin' net?"

I hope Giants tickets are cheaper this upcoming season. Even though I now live almost two hours away from there instead of just twenty minutes away, I'd go five times as often if their prices become more affordable.

None of the seats has me behind a net since I'd be in the upper deck.

Yeah I'm expecting him to announce his retirement soon.

Shame..as I was looking forward to seeing him back on the field.

He just needs to join the coaching staff.

Wouldn't 100% hate naming him manager.

Probably the same one who didn't vote for Griffey, Jr.

Public ballots will be released in two weeks. All voters had the option of making their ballots public or keeping them private.

unanimous selection hype is over-hyped. Ted Williams, Cy Young, Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth & Willie Mays weren't unanimous so I figure Jeter is in pretty good company and if he doesn't make a big deal about it not getting 1 extra vote (and he won't) then nobody should IMO

I fully expected Jeter to make it, but didn't know if Walker would. Good picks on both; nice to see Bonds/Schilling heading in the right direction as well. BTW - after almost falling off the ballot his first year (he stayed on by 1 vote, IIRC), Andruw Jones is almost up to 20% in his 3rd year. He'll probably stabilize in the 20-40% range, but that's incredible...he might benefit from some upcoming years of no home run candidates.

Congrats to Louis Vuitton Craig Biggio and Larry Walker on getting in the HOF. Whoever that dude is who didn't vote for Louis Vuitton Craig Biggio should be in the HOF himself.
