I must be the only one who liked the black unis.

Actually I didn't like them that much (wasn't against them, but wouldn't want to see them every week either), but I did like the black hat.

I loved their black unis. Most didn't because it wasn't in their tradition.

I hate those jerseys above. I hope they grow on me over the year but don't see it happening.

They should trim the logo on the hat to match the trim on the jersey. Or drop the trim on the jersey. Or make the hat bill yellow.

Yeah it doesn't work together quite right. I like the uniform and hat alone, but not as a combo.

The only way Trout doesn't get in is if he murdered somebody and went to jail. Jeez, the man is a 100% lock and should get over 95% of the vote once he retires no matter how badly he may decline.

Nah. Only way he doesn't get in is if he's mean to a reporter after a game.

The only way it will happen is if writers are allowed to vote yes or no on players instead of choosing X number. Because writers if they know a player will get enough votes (ie Griffey, Thome, Chipper, etc.) they will use that last vote or 2 on a player that could be in danger of falling off the ballot (ie Rolen, Walker, Andruw) or to give to another that is relatively close (ie Mussina, Edgar). It's happened with voters already and they have said it directly in their articles or interviews they have done with their ballots.

Or maybe some alternative like you can vote for 10 new players (meaning guys you didn't vote for last year either because you didn't want to, or they weren't on the ballot) each year, but if you choose, you can keep whoever you had from last year as well and it WON'T count towards that 10 limit.

So for example, if you vote for 10 one year, 2 of those guys get into the HOF, you can retain up to 8 players AND vote in 10 others who you didn't vote for that prior year.

Might be a stretch number wise, but something similar to that wouldn't be the worst idea.

Yeah, I always acknowledged its smaller size and accepted it for what it was. I don't think it's a detriment to make it bigger, but I also don't think it needed to be changed. Much like the automatic walk, heh heh.
