Re: MLB Off-Topic
Where are we getting that the DH to the NL is gaining steam? I listened to the roundtable with Manfred and he absolutely stated at least 3 times that the status quo is going to be here to stay, that he likes having two different rules for the leagues, and that the overwhelming majority of the owners like it that way. He said he didn't see it changing anytime soon...this was straight from his own mouth."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. Re: MLB Off-Topic
I find it telling that the guys saying we need universal DH are fans of the Yankees, Blue Jays, and Red Sox. Those saying let's leave it like it is are fans of the Cubs, Reds, Phillies, and Giants.
Seems pretty entrenched to me and I don't see a need to change it. Let AL fans have their style and NL fans also.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: MLB Off-Topic
To break up the DH convo a little bit.
The Padres are considering going to Brown full time in 2020.
Here's some of the possible options.

Re: MLB Off-Topic
He said as of today, they aren't even CLOSE to 3/4 of the owners wanting the DH...so it doesn't matter what the player's union pushes for, if the owners don't want it it isn't happening."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball.
