I have a mini outrage and then eventually call the stadium by its new corporate name but in this case, nope. It will forever always be Miller Park to me.

Are they gonna ban Bernie Brewer after it becomes American Family Park? I mean, a mascot that represents out of shape beer drinking sports fans isn't exactly "family friendly".

I will hate this until the day I die. Im only 20, 21 in May, and the Brewers have been my most favorite team in all of sports since I first started liking sports, so basically when i was 3 or 4. Personally, Miller Park is all I've ever known it for, and the name is so perfect you forget its even a corporate name. Hell, the Brewers' branding is even modeled after Miller Brewing Co. If it was a new stadium, sure call it American Family Field. But its still the same ballpark, it's still Miller Park. It will always be Miller Park.

And for extra backstory info, American Family was already hated so now I just hate them even more.

This is weird to think that's how old the park is. Or how old I am getting, I guess.

I still think of it as a "new park" for whatever reason.

The Padres are officially returning to brown and yellow in 2020.

They've notified MLB of their intent to change uniforms, and they have until May to finalize the design.

Any of these will be fine, thank you.

They might end up going with the Brown and Yellow or maybe Brown with a hint of Navy Blue (Not sure how that would work out). Would like to see them go with the cream colored home jerseys circa 1969. I'm glad that after all these years they've finally made the change.

How about everyone decides on a set of uniforms and we put a moratorium on new uniforms for at least 10 years. The **** is with this unveiling of new uniforms every months or so.

The Yankees will find a way to make the swoosh as minimized as possible. There would be way too much of an uproar.


At least the Yankees have never felt the need for an alternate uniform set or anything like that.

Nike will be taking over making jerseys starting in 2020. You know what that means...anyone planning on buying a jersey, just wait until next off-season when Majestic jerseys are 50% off. I did that in the past for other leagues when they changed sponsors. It's literally the same jersey minus the sponsors logo, but ends up being on sale because they're clearing them out.

Decide on them, use it for a year, and if fans like it (let people vote), keep it. I never get where some teams (in all leagues) are coming from with some of their designs. I've seen so many designs over the years hated by that teams own fanbase. Don't teams do any type of research(or simply just poll your own season ticket holders)?

I'm sure last thing a fanbase would want is to be stuck with these types of things for years:

Actually the Marlins traditional home/road unis grew on me. The black and orange jerseys were pretty bad though.
