Except if they had even an average pen they'd be contending. 3 games out of 1st with the worst pen in baseball. Get an average pen that holds onto half of the losses and the Braves are 10 over .500 and in first.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

I agree that their performance has been bad, but they were showing that the bullpen has only lost like 5 games this year or something stupid like that.

Thanks, Johnson, for that stupid error that made this a 2-run game. Arghh...this team is so frustrating.
I'm sorry, but Fredi is complicit in this garbage as well. Pulling Cunningham, a switch hitter who has 5 hits the last two games and is a great fielder, for Gomes who pops out and then can't make the play that started the go-ahead 3-run inning is garbage managing.
Again, I get that it's on the players...but Fredi is just not a good manager. Did we really have to give up Gabby Guerrero? Jesus Jack Z is so clueless it's mind boggling. 5 years from now we will probably look back on this and wonder wtf were they thinking?
