Cano hit in the head by an errant Angels warm up throw. Cano was sitting in the dugout.

    Can his season get worse?

      It was Brett Oberholtzer.

Watching Pads/DBacks and they were talking about what a quiet star Paul Goldschmidt is. Goldschmidt is tied with Harper at 5.3 WAR entering the day, well on his way to a 10 WAR season, and you really don't hear anyone talk about him as they do a Trout, Harper, Kershaw, or Cabrera. Must be that he plays in Arizona?

He's the modern day Hank Greenberg IMO.

With the rash of injuries lately, thank god Cutch didn't break anything. He'll have to adopt the Marte elbow protector.

Awesome of the Astros to send that loser down. That's how you establish a good culture. I was very impressed with Luhnow speaking over the offseason and very impressed by how they handled today's nonsense.

Looks like they've finally got some good management in Houston.

Fun sequence in Tampa. Sandoval homers, Napoli takes ball 4 but it's called a 3rd strike, he gets ejected for arguing, then Alejandro De Aza homers.

9 of De Aza's last 13 hits have been for extra bases.

I forget the Pirate that did something like that a few years ago. He either threw at someones head or hit someone in the head. The name escapes me at the moment.

A low scoring, tight ballgame won by the Jays.

Now that's the way it should be done from time to time!

The Twins are just not that good.

Matz with a 2 run double in his first MLB at bat!

Game itself seemed abit boring. I thought Rangers played better game, Jays just got the more timely hits.

Matz...first Met player to go 3-3 with 4 RBI in his debut....!!...and the first pitcher in the HISTORY of the MLB to have 4 RBI in his first game!
                            Oh.....and the kid can pitch.
