Not surprised Tabata was the one to lean in on the pitch . The guy was sent down the the minors last year for being a bad influence on Marte. Hell of a pitching performance though.

Looks like the Dodgers may call up Hector Olivera this week. Our offense has dried up lately and we need some sort of spark. Olivera is hitting .387 at AAA right now. Once he comes up Justin Turner or Alex Guerrero may eventually be traded.

Now we need to get Iwakuma back, and hope Edgar can work his magic with the hitters. If we want to do anything this year we have to start turning the corner as a team.
And if you were running the team, he'd be in AAA or traded already. You were ready to kick him to the curb after his first 2 starts.

I never said I would trade him. But his 1st few starts were terrible. And it is starting to get tiresome for everyone bringing up past posts of mine after every new post I make. Who cares what I said then? It was right at the time and times do change. There is a such a thing as speaking in the heat of the moment without fully thinking it through.

Speaking in the heat of the moment generally isn't the best idea. Trust me, I've got some old posts that make me cringe and make me dislike the younger version of myself haha.

Jays pitching is pathetic. Past few years is such horrible pitching. Its a joke that some of best offenses in mlb cant even win games cause pitching like this goes and gives up run after run after run after run!

Let's not get stupid now. The pitching staff has been a lot better. I half expected this result today as Scott Copeland had two great starts but he's a AAA guy and eventually he was gonna throw up a stinker. Thankfully it's on a day when the Jays offense is cranking it out.

Red Sox are destroying Royals pitching today. Chris Young came in with a 1.98 ERA, and left with a 2.83 mark (7 ER in 4.2 IP). Jason Frasor came in with a 0.44 ERA, and left with a 1.69 (3ER in 1 IP). Good to see this happening, now hopefully we don't blow this...

George Springer is good at baseball, and Correa looks like a young A-Fraud. I don't know if he will have quite the power output though. I miss the 90's M's so much.

Cecil.......singlehandedly cost jays at least 5 games this year. 40+ win team right now without him!

It's time to cut bait with the "Cecil as closer" experiment. I know it wasn't a save opportunity but he's blowing it consistently now.
