Great win today. 13-7 since June 16th. Hopefully we win these next 4 games, and ride a hot streak into the ASB.

Excuse me if this was already discussed, but what is up with Carper Capp's pitching delivery? Dude basically does a crow hop on the mound before releasing the ball. How is that even legal?

If I tried that, it would end badly for my ankle.

              Banuelos part II.

              Continues to look very mature.

I could watch that vid of Brett Lawrie breaking that bat over his knee and tossing it towards that cabinet all day and night. Awesome.

Yea also not the only pitcher to do it in the league. Jordan Walden also does it. Don't think it's illegal though, which is the conclusion we reached.

Edit: just saw an article on Twitter say that his motion has been deemed legal by MLB.

More on Capp, mlb central showed this morning that he threw a pitch last night that had the fastest pitch perceived speed all year in all of MLB at 105.8 mph.

                      He's definitely gaining an advantage.

Kolten Wong out with a concussion suffered in yesterday's game.

Cards are going to need to start signing folks out of the crowd in order to field a team soon...and yet they remain 14 games over .500

So disgusted by the Orioles. Already choked away the division and are now probably going to be sellers at the deadline. Then, we "won't be able to afford" to keep any of our pending free agents which leads to us sucking again for the next 10 years. Awesome stuff, guys.

2 games back is "choked away the division"? The AL East is so volatile with every team having major weaknesses that it'd be foolish to be sellers at the deadline unless they have a horrible July. Let's not jump to conclusions here.

You have to remember that his teams are cursed, then it makes sense.

Yeah, the AL East is full of mediocrity. Any team could win it.
