112 pitches for Hamels through 8. Some organizations wouldn't send him back out in a 5-0 game especially with a trade basically imminent.

It's probably his last ever start for the organization.

Let him make history and go out in style.

Sandy Koufax was the last person to no-hit the Cubs.. On September 9, 1965.

With the way today's gone, I wouldn't be surprised if Hamels pulled it off.

Fowler's gonna have to do it, because Bryant's an auto strikeout lately.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Congrats to Hamels on the no hitter. He was electric. It was well deserved.

Also hope this prompts the Cubs to take a harder look at improving the offense, which has been below average all year, and awful since the ASB.

Maybe it's something to do with Maddon? I feel like he has the most no hitters against the past several years.

Congrats to Cole Hamels, that was a heck of a performance. Cubs hitters were extremely outmatched today.

Maybe he's just trying to show Epstein and Hoyer how well he can pitch at Wrigley [emoji6]
