Yeah, I honestly thought there might be more offense. I have a feeling that'll be the case with the flyball pitcher Estrada against Tanaka tomorrow.

Welp...so much for a pitcher's duel. Smoak with the grannie...that is all Price will need."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

I grew more than a little tired of the "Nats to win division by 15 games" headlines that I read in the early spring.

Dewey was projected to beat Truman too.I honestly think there's some bad mojo in that clubhouse. I know the SABR heads don't take team chemistry into consideration much but I look at the Nats as a team with a crap ton of talent but it just can't seem to gel. Granted, a lot of their key players were injured for long stretches but man...I dunno, this team just can't seem to keep it all together."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'm being a bit tongue-in-cheek, since they were clearly the best team in the NL East entering the season. You can't count on basically every notable position player on that team minus Harper missing significant time and Ian Desmond turning into a pumpkin.
Then again, it's not like Werth and Rendon have reputations for being ironmen. That's on the Nationals for not building a deeper roster.I write things on the Internet.
