      Still on the table.

If he doesn't decide in the next few days, just move on and get Upton, Fowler, and a pitcher instead.

Surely he doesn't think he can get better elsewhere.

Phillies are getting good value for a RP and taking the right approach by going for quantity. I bet it's been awhile since we've been able to say that.

Meanwhile, I like the Giles move a lot for Houston. If he can stay healthy, he's got dominant closer written all over him. And for so cheap.

man I don't get the mets signing Absdrubel Cabrera at all we didn't need another infielder and we could of saved the money to get span or a relief pitcher

Cubs also have continued trade dialogue; they are interested in Tyson Ross, Carlos Carrasco, and Danny Salazar, among others.

Cubs remaining aggressive after Ben Zobrist signing. They appear willing to play Jason Heyward in CF if they can reach a deal with him.

Last day of meetings tomorrow, correct? Probably not much will happen, but never know.

Looks like we have another Stephen Drew situation in the offing.

Like picking up Lind, especially for three prospects who even I've never heard of. Glad we didn't give up any bats.

Apparently it's Thomas Eshelman, a 21-year-old righty who was the 'Stros 2nd round pick last year out of Cal State Fullerton. High floor, low ceiling, quick mover-type according to MLB.com.
