At least I'll get to watch Mike Trout and Andrelton Simmons on a nightly basis on local TV.

No clue why ATL would trade Simmons. Idea is to contend in 2017, yet to trade the best defensive player in the sport (who is locked up thru 2020)? Jon Hart gonna Jon Hart.

      Full deal:
ATL Gets: Sean Newcombe; Chris Ellis; Erick Aybar; $3m

      LAA: Andrelton Simmons

It's not Hart. It's John Coppolella.

AND ALL IT COST WAS THE BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER IN THE GAME.

                      They asked for deGrom.

How the **** does Jacob deGrom = Newcomb + Aybar?

Okay but either way isn't Hart basically the baseball czar or does he not have any say in baseball ops?

Either way, this has to suck for Braves fans. Two straight years of tearing the team down to the wood.

                          More pitching.

If you're going to build around pitching and defense, maybe you shouldn't trade away the defense.

I was OK dealing Simmons, provided we got a good bat in return. Aybar does not count as a good bat.

No. We traded him away too.

Its like somebody forgot to turn 30-team control on and the CPU is making unrealistic trades.

Knight! Can you talk to Ramone and patch this?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.
