I hate this trade. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it.

Seriously, what benefit is this? There's not a bad contract sidled up with Simba. He's not old, underperforming or injured. He's not going to be a FA soon.

          I hate it.

              Who cares about Aybar, seriously.
Then this morning I see they are shopping Maybin. He was one of the bright spots on the offensive side last season, we didn't have many!
Aybar......can't wait to insert his 3 HR and 44 rbi into our powerhouse lineup along with his 17 errors from last season at short.

Just relocate the Braves to the west coast so I can stop cheering for them.

If it's true that lefty Sean Newcomb and RHP Chris Ellis are going to the #Braves from the #Angels, that's a huge "get" for #Braves.
From what I've seen of #Angels Newcomb, he can really be an anchor for the #Braves staff in the future. Big, strong lefty is a 60 grade P.
I'm confused w/ the #Angles dealing for Simmons-I think they need pitching more than a SS-and Newcomb can be a quality staring pitcher.
Newcomb is the #37 ranked prospect according baseball america last year; Ellis was drafted in the 3rd round of 2014.

Aybar has an expiring contract that ends in 2016.

That is what they said for Weisler and Fried last year. I wouldn't be surprise if they trade Freddie. No unfortunately not that "Freddie", but the 1B.

I'll presume Coppolella likes Ozhaino Albies (played @ Braves single-A affiliate Rome last year) quite much. Guy is only 19 years old though and I think 2017 is a long shot for a Opening Day debut.

I'm personally a fan of Newcomb, but I feel the return is underwhelming. Maybe I'm comparing it too much to the asking price for NYM.
