    I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say that the Yankees are going to win this game.

      im still not ready to jump on the bandwagon



      i'll just keep telling myself, it is due to them having a lot of money, not b/c of their play on the field

                          I mean.. I'm hoping the rational Yankee fans at least think that Steinbrenner's gone a bit too far over the years with spending money.. it's definitely rubbed off a bit on the owners, IMO.

                          Yankee tradition? Possibly a small part of free agents coming to the Yankees.. but what if Steinbrenner owned the Devil Rays and threw around the same kind of cash? What if the Yankees ownership resembled that of.. say.. the Twins?

                          Money does make the world go 'round.. but nobody in baseball should be making the kind of money these players make now.
