The Justin Turner carriage is turning back into a pumpkin. Puig continues to show signs that he's already peaked.

The Justin Turner carriage is turning back into a pumpkin. Puig continues to show signs that he's already peaked.

His last 2 seasons were really amazing and it's still early, but he is playing more like the Mets version so far for sure. Even with the hot start (before this 5 game slide) they didn't look great and right now I'd be hard pressed to call them one of the top 8 teams in baseball.

It's interesting how the two NL closers that the AL surprise playoff teams have traded for have been such disappointments.

So apparently Jose Bautista can grab a guy on DP and be called out upon review, but Manny Machado does the same thing and is not called out. Should have been a triple play. Ventura gets tossed, and I don't blame him.

Great consistency, MLB.
