Yeah, I have no idea where this pop came from, I pegged him as a powerless bottom of the order defensive specialist when we made the trade. In other words I thought we were getting the Brendan Ryan of CF's. Pleasantly surprised. He's probably been the best 9 hole hitter in baseball this year.

So much for the Cards sweeping their way back into the race with the Cubs.

      Ouch.

Just saw a tweet that Kershaw has more shutouts than walks this month lol. The one true pitching god is sick and tired of hearing about some dude in Chicago and taking it out on the league. It's a real shame the Dodgers aren't better.

Our pitching staff is letting us down again.

The Phillies just became the latest case study in exploring how winning leads to more bat flips.

What a play by LaStella. That clears the bases if it's by him.

Loving Jorge Soler's binoculars he's using in the dugout. Where can I get a pair?

Had a nice view of Bryant's 3 run HR with those!

And the Cubs continue to thump STL pitching. Bryant with a 3-run dinger.

Just get Heyward out of the way. He can hit 7 or 8 now just bury him there like all other NL defensive specialists.

Odubel Herrera was just intentionally walked in the top of the 8th. Surprised the Tigers didn't plunk him to put him on because of that bat flip.
