He's been doing that alot lately. You have to go with Dellin in that situation, no it's not ideal for him to go 3 innings, but at just 22 pitches, and this being a must win game, it's an absolute no brainier in my eyes.

Asking Heller to close is insane, that's way too high of a leverage situation for the kid, luckily, and surprisingly Shreve saved the day.

Ugly win, but I'll take it.

As of this post, there have been 1,035 homers hit this month. That's the most for the month of August in MLB history. They're 34 away from the all-time record for a single month.

Each team is averaging 34.5 homers.

EDIT: Chase Utley makes it 1,036, followed by Roberto Perez with 1,037.

EDIT 2: Kris Bryant with 1,038.

It seemed pretty lively earlier, but this game has been going on for 4 hours plus, I'm out of emotions myself. Mccann hit that sac fly, I was just like bout time.
