It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

That might be blocking and it might be a Cubs win.

Nope. I just don't understand this rule at all. On to the 13th.

        Well...that worked out somehow.

Pirates load the bases and get a run in the top of the 13th, Cubs score 2 in the bottom half to win.

Cubs walk off in the 13th. PIT tried to get an inning too many out of Jeff Locke.

Locke shouldn't still be on the team. Although bases loaded and no outs and only getting only run? Only have themselves to blame.

That was an incredible game. One of the better games this season.

Watching Sox fans cheer while doing the wave in 1-1 bottom of the 6th games makes me want to kill myself.

Man, Grilli nibbling around with Schoop cost the Jays as the very first pitch of the next AB is a fastball that got crushed.

                  "sigh"

Here's hoping the Jays can take the series tomorrow.

The look on Beltre's face after Odor just ran into the 2nd out in the 7th. The Beltre dog needs to hide under the table tonight!

Heller nearly just threw an intentional walk pitch away and allowed the tying run to score.

                        #SaveTheIntentionalWalk

Shreve comes in with the bases loaded, one out, gets a strikeout and a flyout. Yankees win.

Girardi with some questionable decisions in the Bottom of the 10th there. Still bad decisions even if they ended up working out.

He's been doing that alot lately. You have to go with Dellin in that situation, no it's not ideal for him to go 3 innings, but at just 22 pitches, and this being a must win game, it's an absolute no brainier in my eyes.

Asking Heller to close is insane, that's way too high of a leverage situation for the kid, luckily, and surprisingly Shreve saved the day.

Ugly win, but I'll take it.

Even if they lose, I anticipated it as Baltimore is just too good at home over the course of the year to project winning more than one there. They're still on pace to get 91-92 wins for me and win the division by 1-3 games over Boston. The key is at least splitting with Boston the rest of the year. Any extra wins lock it up. Cleveland will be close since we lost the tiebreakers so getting the #2 seed again will be tough. And as long as Texas keeps overachieving (I mean, come on, they beat their Pyth. expectation by more than 7 wins first half and are 4 ahead in the second half), it will be difficult to catch them and their cakewalk schedule full of games against Oakland, Milwaukee, LA, and Tampa.

Big picture is they are winning nearly 3 of 5 in the second half and have the best record of the top 5 AL contenders since the All Star break with Texas just behind.
