There's a small chance the Mets might have to play in 4 cities in 6 days.

I hope the O's do keep the WC spot. Would love to face them in the WC game, especially if it's in Toronto. O's are bad on the road, and their starters have done bad vs the Jays this year. That's the best chance of Jays winning the WC game is against the O's.

I'm telling you it's not happening.

Anything is possible at this point. But if Jays do win the WC game, that'll make the AL East the first division in the MLB to have every team be a WC winner at some point in their history.

My guess at how many wins each team finishes year with: (their W-L record in that span)
          Jays-89(6-5)
          O's-88(6-5)
          Tigers-88(8-4)
          Astros-87(7-4)
          Mariners-86(7-4)

I hope it's not that close though. Lets hope some of these lower teams like Twins,DBacks,Braves,Angles can win some games. Imagine craziness if there's a 3 team tie for the WC. We'd have to have 2 WC play-in games. A vs B, then loser of A/B vs C.

C'mon man, why are you hoping for craziness like that? I'd rather we get the #1 WC spot and take on the Rangers again.

BTW if i'm Boston i'd be worried about playing the Indians. That team is playing with some real mojo right now.

That is what I said....if we play Os at Rogers Centre, that's cause we are the #1WC team.....

If I may be overly optimistic and way too confident for a moment, the only team I'm worried about playing in the postseason is the Cubs

If there's any city that would be fitting to be on losing side of something that hasn't happened in 100+ years(Cubs WS win), it'd be Toronto lol. Them or Cleveland really.

Sorry bud, the Jays aren't going to get a chance to witness that in person.

Considering the number of games left and the way the Orioles are "playing", I vehemently disagree.

David Ortiz's cleats for his last home game has the dates of all of his walk offs.

For my sake, I hope he doesn't add to that list on his last game.

I wouldn't be so sure Boston is either. They've been streaky this year. A cold June, a cool late July/early August 7-13 stretch. No reason to think it doesn't shift the other way going up against a team like Cleveland. The division isn't settled just yet. Let's give it a few more days.

At this point, I'd rather take the wild card even with that good series against Cleveland back in August. That was some time ago. Putting it all on one game is a risk, but Texas is beyond lucky so far this year. I wouldn't mind another 5-game series like last year, win or lose.

If the Mariners blow this too, it's Godgers fault.
