Really the only way to pitch to him is walk him right now, he's incredibly patient.

Damn, Marcell Ozuna just hit one off the banners in Tampa. Never seen that before.

What I like most about Judge's run so far are some of the underlying numbers: 14.9 BB%, "just" a 25.7 K% and a high-ish but not insane .326 BABIP which would indicate a sustainable successful future (he does need to cut his GB% and put the ball more in the air but that will come in time I believe.).

I saw the "incident" at Fenway tonight. What an embarrassment to the game. SMH

This home plate umpire isn't much better, Girardi ejected.

The Cubs have given up 1st inning runs in 4 straight games and in 6 of their last 7 games. Getting kind of ridiculous.

Agree with the sentiment on Kevin Gausman. But like TripleCrown said they weren't going to let anything go, and I feel like Manfred made that extra clear to the umps. And the 2nd strike to Jones was the epitome of a strike on the top of the zone.

The plate last night was awful.

Also got to finally see a Judge bomb live.

Watching that ball soar in the air was incredible. The second the ball started its rise, the entire stadium stood up and cheered.

I haven't witnessed that feeling in the ballpark during the regular season. To be fair, I didn't get to watch Sanchez live last year and I'm sure Jeter's last Yankee stadium hit was more incredible.

But there was a noticeable amount of attention being paid to Judge when he batted. It's really special.

Sam Holbrook proved himself to be a piece of **** long ago.

MLB umpires need to be purged. If they're gonna all be awful like this, I'd rather they be new faces.

He took it upon himself to be bigger than the game and to be the one that "resolved" the feud between the O's and Sox.

Even his statement after the game explaining his actions were bush league.

I'm sure I'd still be salty about it, but at least if Sale had been tossed too, it would've been at least somewhat defensible. But it's a complete farce to let that go with a warning and throw Gausman immediately for hitting Bogaerts with a ****ing curveball.

This whole situation would've taken care of itself if Barnes had just been dealt with more sternly by the league instead of facilitating these archaic bull**** unwritten rules just because "that's the way it's been done".

I'm ready for the O's and Sox to be done with each other for a while. This series is a ****ing clown show all around.
