This ump isn't really helping Johnson here.

I don't know if it is the right topic to talk about it, but Ender only being a reserve is a joke.

And now the umpire gives Johnson the calls that had he made earlier would have avoided this mess.

The Red Sox have the best ERA in the AL right before the break.

The last time they had the best ERA in the AL right before the break?

Jim Johnson has got to get the **** out of here. Just leave him in Oakland. Let him go to some commune there. Hurl him off the Bay Bridge. I don't give a ****. Enough's enough though. We've hoarded enough pitching prospects and if we can't find a replacement for him that is ready to go NOW, it's a ****ing organizational failure.

                  Seriously.

I'm actually ready for the chop to die in Atlanta. Nothing but the organ, I say.

The Chop isn't nearly as bad as it used the be. We use to do it literally every time we made contact lol.

The chop isn't even in the same STRATOSPHERE as the drumming bull****.

Read an article this morning about Anthony Gose working on coming back to the bigs as a pitcher. Apparently he's got a triple digits fastball...watched some footage of him and he's actually got a pretty decent off speed pitch as well. I could see him making to the bigs as a lefty reliever for sure...

                          Exactly. It's WAY worse.

I should clarify. I think the chop and chant is way worse

The chop is okay in small doses but when you've got multiple half innings of chanting and doing the chopping motion it can really wear on you. If I were the opposition it'd probably get to my head at some point. Alas, it's never going to be as big as it used to be owing to cultural and racial respect now.

You drum complainers that like the chop are so hypocritical. The same chant for 9 innings is acceptable but drums that change every batter is annoying?

Give me a break. I'm sure your **** don't smell either.

I've always liked the drumming in Oakland. Then again I like the vuvuzelas in soccer matches. That sort of atmosphere never bugs me.
