Correa whining for no ****in' reason whatsoever but it doesn't fit the narrative about the people who usually "get butthurt" about "unwritten rules" and are "the fun police" and who are "stodgy" and "stoic" and "boring" and "old school" and "living in the past" so this won't get too much attention, I'm sure.

Re: 6/26 - 7/9 Game Discussion Thread
The delay was dumb but all these fans and media types acting like it's the most offensive thing in the history of sports and bitching on and off the air for hours on end is absurd and embarrassing.
The radar showed rain in the area. The radar still shows rain in the area. So they expected it to move over the area and they decided to delay to try to avoid it and it didn't materialize. Big ****ing whoop.
Also, thanks for nothing Diamondbacks. *******s.
The game should have been called a forfeit. Not sure why the Braves didn't force the umps to make a call. Before the game starts, it is up to the home team, but the umps could have called play ball. Delaying the start of a game in order to benefit one team is a forfeit per rules.
They also screwed all the fans as they gave no update. They entered the stadium since there was no rain, then they delay it, give no updates, metro shuts down around 11PM, so people left. Now they can't get refunds or can't get home. They need to refund everyone and refund people's parking or cab home if they stayed.

You're giving them way too much credit.
The simple answer is incompetence.Comment

There was absolutely NO intention of showing Correa up and he's just being a whiny baby.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

And they do. It's annoying.

So we are about to play the final 3 games before the All-Star break and no matter what happens, the Brewers are going to in 1st Place in the NL Central at the All-Star Break.
If you predicted that prior to the season raise your hand.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

It's also unique in that I believe the Brewers only have a handful of homegrown players on their everyday roster. It's a team made up of mostly castoffs and young kids who've gelled.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

So Bartolo Colon has interest from the Mets, which we figured, and also 3 other teams supposedly. I wonder who the other 3 clubs are?
And the Brewers have inquired about Sonny Gray and Jose Quintana.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Good for the Brewers. They're not letting their "timeline" get in the way of winning.Comment

If they don't fade and the NL Central continues to be sluggish than they have a great shot at the playoffs. Craig Counsell will definitely be Manager of the Year. I'm rooting for them. They have a pretty good fanbase and I like the makeup of the team. They kind of play to the camera a lot as well which can be annoying but it reminds us all that deep down this is just a game they're playing.

They have done a good job of bench strength, though.Comment

Re: 6/26 - 7/9 Game Discussion Thread
Of the 25 players on Milwaukee’s active roster, only five (Nelson, Braun, shortstop Orlando Arcia, and relievers Jacob Barnes and Wily Peralta) are homegrown — that is, either drafted or signed as amateur free agents by the Brewers. Only the Braves have fewer active homegrown players. Even the Brewers’ top three prospects this spring, and four of the top five (according to Baseball America), were imports from other organizations.
Brewers have the second least homegrown players in all of baseball. Crazy what this patchwork team with the lowest payroll has done.
