dGreat series by the Cubs/Brew Crew.

Hopefully, it's a start of a nice rivalry going on.

Love me some Haderaid, he is becoming dominant out of the pen and finding his grove.

Johan Camargo continues to impress...pinch hit. 2-out, 2-run single puts Braves ahead 4-2 going to the 9th. If we hold on (big if), it will be win number 70. First time in the 70's since 2014!

Lance Lynn threw 42 pitches and gave up 8 earned runs.

That almost seems impossible to me.

We are fighting back but that's a tough hole to dig out of

LOL @ESPN...I just on the bottom of the screen it stated that Wade Davis blew TWO saves today (one in the 9th, one in the 10th). Not possible...he was in line for the win, no the save, the second time. It is impossible for a pitcher to blow TWO saves in a game.

Yeah, I hate having to rely on them for the live events. But as soon as the games are done, I rush to change the channel, haha.

Today is likely final game for Bautista at Rogers Centre as a Blue Jay, maybe overall depending where he goes next. He obviously had 2nd most memorable moment in the stadiums history and in general was their greatest offensive player. Sucks to see this being the end, but hopefully jays can turn things around quick and not make fans spend next 2 decades doing nothing but reminiscing again.

I don't think the wait will be that long. There's a crop of young guys waiting in the wings. The problem is they're all in the lower levels of the organization. Save for Vlad Jr. and Bichette they won't be around until 2020 at the earliest. I feel like the above mentioned duo will be up here sooner than later, 2019 at the very latest.

That being said it all depends on how Atkins and Shapiro navigate the waters. Obviously they don't want to make this painful for both the fans and ownership and thus they're going to try to be competitive while waiting for the young guys. Hence the Estrada deal only being for one year. If they play their cards right the Jays will be viable contenders again by 2020. I think our fanbase can ride out a couple down years as long as they see some progression with the minor leagues/young players on the roster.

As for Bautista, I know he hasn't said it yet but I feel like his career is done. He might catch on with some other team on a minimal deal but will probably be cut in spring training. Either way, the next opportunity he gets to walk into Rogers Centre there will be a huge tribute and perhaps even putting him on the Level of Excellence depending on if he's still active or retired. He's definitely up there with Delgado as the greatest all around offensive player this franchise has ever seen.

I'm still waiting for Halladay to be on Level of Excellence. The moment they announce that, I'm gonna try and get tickets for that game. Managed to do that for Delgado(this was first time I ever went to a game where they added someone to level of excellence) and it was great. My seats were almost right infront of his sign. I technically got to see his name on the level of excellence(I looked underneath the tarp) before 99.9% of people did, maybe even before Delgado himself too.

Of this current era of Jays, Bautista,Encarnacion and Donaldson are all guys who should be on there. Hopefully Stroman/Sanchez one day down the road too.

They better not cheap out on the fanbase ever again though. Everyone knows Rogers is one of richest owners in all of baseball. Develop the guys in the farm system but in the meantime, go after the bigger free agents on 2-3 year deals.
