Less of voodoo magic and more a product of a healthy amount of games vs defeated Cincy and Pittsburgh teams.

Final home series of Jays season, also means likely final home series for Bautista here.

This is one of first real times that Jays had a star player and fans KNOW he's not coming back next year and can give him proper sendoff. Guys like Halladay,Delgado,Alomar,Encarnacion among others people didn't know for sure if those guys were going.

1-0 Brewers jumping on Lackey in the first. Braun gets the RBI single

Lackey continuing to cough up homers at a frightening pace. 2 solo shots for Milwaukee and still in 2nd inning.

Early temper tantrum for Lackey tonight I guess.

He certainly did his part to break that HR record

So, Mr. Goins has been a big contributor tonight. He employs the ol' hidden ball trick on the Yankees then pretty much sinks em with a Grand Slam.

Jon Jay with an AB of the year candidate here. 15 pitches, then a single.

He's made a career out of "pest" AB's like that. That plus the "dying quail" base hit to center.

Nothing soft there though - most of those fouls were rockets.

Cubs deserved that one after some stupidity between Duensing and Contreras.

Great series so far. Might as well be October already.

LOL at how the Brewers defended that bunt pop up.
