How does Ozzie Albies hit the ball as far as he does? He just homered to left center from the left side of the plate...guy continues to amaze me.

Jay misses a 3 run HR by a couple feet, but a double ties the game and leaves runners at 2nd and 3rd with none out. Some shoddy Mets D and a rope hit by Montgomery contributing as well.

KB knocks them both in and the Cubs lead 7-5! Still only the 4th inning, btw.

Cubs-Mets at Wrigley has basically come to a complete stop as the Mets' staff can't find any outs. Cubs up 14-5 after 6 innings on the heels of a 17-5 bloodbath yesterday and a modest 8-3 win the day before.

Looks like Cubs-Cards will tangle this weekend with St. Louis at best being able to tie for the division lead. Cubs-Cards play 7 more times, Cubs-Brewers play 4 more, and Cards-Brewers play 3 more, so everyone's going to have a say in their own destiny.
