Big time meh on Arrieta to the Phillies. He gets his dollar amount per year but it's a short contract so it's probably not too bad for the Phillies. I'm not a major believer in Arrieta anyway.

It's "nice" to see the Phillies finally decide to field a major league team, however. One less team with this losing on purpose garbage.

I may be wrong but I think the Phillies might has had better 2nd half records each of the past 2 seasons. Regardless, I don't see much merit in your comment.

Yankees now have multiple options to play 2b. Walker should be an excellent stopgap till they believe Gleyber is fully ready. And Yankees are still way below the LT.

So Dave Martinez has had the Nationals players practicing their walk-off home run trots this spring. Can't say I'm surprised with a team as cocky as the Nationals. They act like they are defending World Series champions every year. Yet another reason to hate that team.
