Jordan Hicks has made the Cardinals opening day roster, team views him as their closer or the future, he’ll be making the jump to the majors not having pitched above high A before.

That was seriously one of the best ST moments you'll ever see, and sadly, might be highlight of entire Jays season.

Bottom of the 9th, tied game, no extra innings, 2 outs, bases empty, and the kid who was born in the city and whose dad made a name for himself in that very same stadium wearing that same number is up to bat and then....

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. clobbers a dramatic walk-off home run in front of an enthusiastic Montreal crowd to lift the Blue Jays to a 1-0 win

              You can't write this stuff

C'mon man, don't be so depressing. If that's the highlight of the entire year than it means the Jays had the worst season imaginable.

Oakland no longer has a monopoly on plumbing/sewage issues.

The final casualty of Spring Training, Dr, Andrews has suggested that Oakland's top pitching prospect AJ Puk should get TJ surgery.

Well, Melancon still has yet to be evaluated on his arm discomfort. Maybe not the last after all...

Seriously cool moment with Vlad Jr, it's bizarre how often this sort of incredibly unlikely event happens in sport.

With that being said, that's the first time I've seen him in video and wow is he a big lad! I presumed he'd be the same, athletic build that Vlad Sr was but he's got the largest back side and thighs I've ever seen! I can't imagine someone that chunky staying at third for long, he's surely going to end up at first base? I mean, he's still young, how big is he going to get when he gets a bit older and it gets harder to stay in shape?

He's at least got enough range and athleticism right now to play 3B. I expect him to move to 1B within 5 or so years if he isn't diligent about keeping in shape.

If/when he does grow out of 3B (and look what happened with Schwarber's transformation...these really young guys can remake their bodies dramatically with all the resources they have in MLB) he could still be a high level DH for the Jays.
