Now Cincinnati, that's a team that "joke" and "pathetic" can be applied to. 2-13? Sheesh!

Wonder how many games Mother Nature is going to postpone today.

          Saw that.

Mother Nature creating havoc on the early season schedule.

Schedule has been messed by weather.

Someone like Rangers have played 17 games. Twins have played 11.

            Its only mid April.

I heard last night that 20% of all games so far have been postponed due to weather...not the first time it's been like this and it won't be the last.

I'm guessing something like a "bye week", with the primary intention being to schedule postponed games (assuming doubleheader isn't possible if teams don't play at a certain ballpark again) wouldn't work?

I know they added more offdays this year and it would help, but just some other idea I thought of.

Another, not related to postponed games, is having more games in warm/roof stadiums in April. Seeing some guys like Sale commenting on how cold it is, I'm sure guys would appreciate it more. Fans as well.

I think MLB tried to do this for the first week with many Northern teams opening up in the Southern US or in domed stadiums. But you can only do that for so long before a team needs to play at home for a bit.

Cubs-Cards is the second game to drop off the schedule today.

This is awkward/ironic, Jays game tonight could be postponed. Jays are playing at home.

Ice falling on the stadiums roof and the area around it outside could make it too dangerous for fans to be there, and of course too dangerous for players to play, especially if roof leaks/ice breaks through.

Similar thing happened at Raptors game on Saturday. Ice got into the arena and started dripping from the vents onto the court.

Jays game cancelled. Doubleheader tomorrow! First Jays home game requiring a doubleheader since 1989. Some 26 year old reliever named David Wells got the win in both games for the Jays against the California Angels.

I was really looking forward to the Jays game tonight. It's been pretty stressful here and it would be nice to have 3ish hours to not think about it. Oh well, traditional doubleheader tomorrow should make up for it.
