Speaking of Toronto, I thought this year would be the start of grass versus that turf?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

People have been hoping that for years. They were doing studies on it, I think Milwaukee was a stadium looked at, but nothing came of it. People thought bringing in Shapiro would lead to big stadium changes since he did that in Cleveland. Don't know how they don't do it. Even from business standpoint, you're putting out 150m team with $100 insurance with the turf they got. Protect your assets, put grass in.

I saw article talking about changes that could come in near future, all relating to fan experience. Wanting to add better hangout areas, a history section to honour the teams greats(besides just their level of excellence, but one like a statue or plaque area) among other things. I'd turn the 500 level OF seats into something better since they're rarely used. Either way, only so much you can do with a stadium build in the 80s.

Downside to all these cancelled games, Jays now have 21 games scheduled over the next 20 days.

Due to all the cancellations, today is now Jackie Robinson Day for them.

Yes they are. But they have a doubleheader, and they're back in regular numbers for Game 2.

Never knew this was a thing.

Jays-Royals game tomorrow is at 4pm because it's a "Facebook game".

That's because the Royals have opted to have their Jackie Robinson Day on June 24th when the Buck O'Neil Center (which is affiliated with the Negro League HOF) opens up.

BTW about the Facebook Game tomorrow, that means no Jays on TV. MLB is really pushing this FB initiative hard. They're also scheduled to be on Facebook on May 24th against the Angels. If Ohtani is pitching that day there's going to be a furor from Jays fans who want to see him on TV.

Nice to see Rizzo back in the lineup 2nite.

Maybe this years postponement situation is a sign of things to come (maybe not) but can't think the MLBPA is very happy with what Rizzo said today.

Stanton strikes out again. What else is new.

I doubt they care too much. They're not going to cut down the number of games

It's been a rough game for the Yankees, trailing 9-0 to Miami.

                                Another Stanton K. Yikes.
