    Nice frame Molina.

Too many wasted opportunities tonight in a winnable game. Frustrating to let Wainwright off the hook like that.

There should have been a lot more runs scored tonight considering how poor the starters were.

No, the DH can only be replaced by somebody who hasn't been in the game.

This Red Sox TV crew is a really tough listen. They are very homerific. Yes, the Red Sox are off to a great start, but my goodness these guys are not good.

Their defensive play has been very solid as well. Wish there was room for Teoscar to stay up once Donaldson and Morales are back.

In fairness, Jonny Gomes is sitting on for Jerry Remy and Dennis Eckersley (one of, if not the best color guy in baseball) on this west coast swing. But yeah, Dave O’Brien and Jonny Gomes are a hard listen.

I feel like Solarte is a guy that is going to have a bit of a breakout year. I really like his approach at the plate in that he's super aggressive early but he has a good enough eye and patience to get deep into counts. He isn't always going to be pretty with his swing but he's going to produce.

Mookie Betts is the best player nobody's been talking about. A nice 3-HR game for him tonight.

Kenley Jansen having some serious issues this year. Goes all they way back to the World Series.

Blown save tonight and has given up 3 homers in 6 2/3 innings pitched this year.

Gives up a Homer to Hosmer. Walks Franchy Cordero, then Cordero steals second. Jansen then Balks Cordero to 3rd. Has Headley 3-2 and Headley rips a double down the line to tie the game.

                    All with 2 outs.

If I'm counting correctly, the Giants have faced eleven lefty starters so far this year.

You'd think that over that time, they'd figure them out or something?

No, instead they get one-hit where Corbin only had to exhaust 100 pitches, and the lone hit was on a check swing by Belt that beat the overshift down the third base line.

I believe Jansen is hurt. He just doesn't look right.

Albert Pujols so far in the year per Fangraphs: -1.9war

I wonder what is the all-time single season mark for negative war.

You are looking at 2017. So far, as per BBR and Fangraphs, he's got a positive 0.2 WAR. He's actually off to a decent start.
