I have never yelled at my TV before but I may have just shouted "NO"

Have no idea why people would think teams need help scoring runs in 2018. ESPN working MLB PR I guess.

I really do think that there should far harsher penalties for hitting a batter...treat it like a flagrant in the NBA. When will enough be enough?

For intentionally hitting someone, sure. But for this? No way.

You can't legislate hit batters out of the game. **** happens. If you're going to penalize guys for hitting anyone in any situation, that would be worse than any rule change that people incessantly complain about.

The wrist guard is a great idea, and I noticed Ohtani wears a sleeve over his right hand/wrist when he hits since he hits left-handed.

Nah, it happens in football too. This past season had so many superstars get hurt that it was impossible to keep track of.

Wrist still being evaluated... Which is basically the same as last year. Just great.

As for harsher penalties, yeah this completely sucks, but you can't make pitchers scared to throw inside. Freddie definitely needs to start wearing a wrist guard.
