All depends if Harper resigns or not. They won't tear it down with him there.

Eric Thames is becoming Mr. April.

18 Hr's in the month of April for the past 2 years, 11 last season.

12 HR's vs the Reds, which ties Judge for most Hr's vs 1 team in the last 2 seasons.

I am getting sick of this crap...Freddie Freeman hit in the SAME spot that he had broken last year. Probably out for who knows how long...

Time to call up J.B. I guess.

Here's a rules question: Freeman surrendered his advancement to first base by going immediately to the dugout. I know that it is a dead ball, but does he need to reach first base before going to the dugout, thereby making it an out? That would be the case for a walk, and I believe if you hit a home run you'd have to touch all four bases even though that ball goes out of play as well.

I know obviously the injury is the forefront of the concern, but just inquiring in general.

Hey so you wanna know what's worse for baseball than pace of play problems? ****in your superstar player breaking his ****ing wrist in the same exact spot as he did last year with another hit by pitch by another ****ty *** inaccurate, worthless garbage pitcher.

Ugh FFS man! I've gotten to know more about Freddie Freeman over the last year or so from his participation with Team Canada and he comes across as a real great guy not only as a player but as a human being. This totally sucks for the Braves.

He's so ****ing close to being a total Chipper-like superstar. It's really sad and really frustrating.

So I thought I was going to come on here and the thing I would be most upset about would be a borderline call at first getting overturned when those same kind of calls had been getting upheld.

Then the Phillies bullpen said hold my beer.

This really sucks. Love Ozzie, but there is no doubt who the face of this team is. If freddie is out until June...

At least he wasn't in as much pain as last year, maybe that's a good sign? This sucks

If he's out...I think they should call up Acuna. I know the argument will be that you don't want him to feel he has to "carry" the team, but I think he's the kind of player that would thrive with that challenge.

                              Well.

                              Here comes Acuna.

They should start wearing wrist guards.

I really do think that there should far harsher penalties for hitting a batter...treat it like a flagrant in the NBA. When will enough be enough?

Call him up and have Markakis or Tucker play first is what people were suggesting.
