And the Mets give it right back. What a game.

Not over, just tied (again). And they'll play 11.

It's odd not living in NYC anymore and being the only person clapping wildly in my apartment complex when Sanchez went deep.

            A few things

Acunas first hr. And for it to happen that quickly. Very cool

            Gary is scary

Please let Votto play for a good team.

Votto seems happy in Cincy which I really don't understand but yeah, I'd love to see him on a good club and go on a long postseason run.

Yea. He seems like the type that will stay with one team for a career. He's a rare personality. Its refreshing but frustrating.

Hmmm, Kris Bryant out again. I'm guessing by the way no actual injury has emerged and by how vague the team is being that he's just spooked a little bit after having a nearly catastrophic HBP in the head. Hopefully he can get back in the box again soon.

Wonder if there were any delayed concussion symptoms. Sometimes it takes a day or two for the symptoms to show up.

Ranked Seasons Meta being utilized by Hendricks tonight, nothing above the knees, offspeed aplenty.

I feel like we would've heard about it if that were the case. Everyone (Maddon, Rizzo, etc) is being pretty circumspect in their comments. The gist of all the comments is that there is nothing wrong with Kris physically. Not to say that symptoms couldn't arise later on, but I'm thinking he needs the time off mentally after being about 3 inches from having a totally broken face.

Good W for the Cubbies. Only their 2nd win of the season scoring 3 runs or less.

Concussion symptoms can take a month in some cases to show up. It's a case by case basis. I once got a concussion in college taking and elbow to the head and didn't even have any symptoms until a month and a half after it happened. It then lingered for almost 2 years before the issues went away. By that time I was out of college and already in the professional ranks in Europe.
