...and Albies homers on the first pitch of the game and Acuna follows with a hustle double down the line. I love this team!

I want to see Albies run more...kid has some speed, use 1B coach EY and start running, man. With his speed, no way he should be <30 SBs.

Markakis better pick up Acuna/Freeman...we can't leave these runners out there.

I know Atlanta views Camargo as a utility player...and Bautista is going to come up at some point, but I wish they'd just stick him at 3B and see what he can do. I really believe he's a Martin Prado type of player who would be a .300 hitter with 10-15 homers and really good defense.

Swap out Carmargo with an aging Bautista and tell me the Braves couldn't at least make a serious wild card push.

              Help, i'm starting to believe.

I saw no tweets about it, I had to hunt for the reddit thread about I

....anyway, what the hell is this lineup for Atlanta today. Interesting.

By a guy making his MLB debut. And, actually, no one's reached base yet.

Not worried about jinxing this one as it's between 2 teams that I don't want to see win. Unfortunately, someone has to.

Pirates take a lead in the 6th off Luke Weaver.

I still don't believe that the Pirates are for real, but I can always believe when a pitcher debuts and does really well. If they have command, it actually happens quite a bit. Your catcher knows everything about those players and those players know absolutely nothing about you. Always seems to be a nice recipe for success.

Dansby almost cost us there...lazy throw. Good job by McCarthy limiting the damage after the Camargo error.

First hit with two outs in the seventh.

Good show. I wish there was a larger viewing audience for it.

Of course, now he is in the stretch and will probably fall apart. Thankfully he got some run support.

Cards get a hit in the 7th to break up Kingham's perfect game and no-hitter.

It's only been a month...but at some point we might have to consider this Braves' offense is for real.
